JOB TITLE: Manager - Operations & Career Management Centre
Job Summary:
As the Manager - Career Management Centre & Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the CMC and assist in overall operations of an education institute. You will work closely with students, faculty, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth functioning of the Career Management Centre & Academic team and provide students with the necessary resources and support to enhance their career prospects.

Job Responsibilities:

Academic Coordination: 

• Managing, planning sessions, adhering to course timelines
• Facilitating Smooth & steady campus functioning with respect to faculty management, student management, campus management.
• Sourcing and recruitment of external faculty.
• Negotiations with external faculty on costs.
• Managing and organizing industry sessions.
• Operations efficiency of the campus.
• Handling and resolving student issues (all batches).
• Planning new schedules for batches.
• Ensuring no session is left blank.
• Coordinating with vendors for administrative requirements.
• Maintain and update student records and databases related to all the academics & CMC.

Career Services:

• Develop and implement career development programs, workshops, and events to assist students in exploring career options, developing job search skills, and preparing for interviews.
• Provide individual career counselling and guidance to students, helping them identify their strengths, interests, and career goals.
• Foster relationships with employers, alumni, and industry professionals to facilitate internship and job placements for students.
• Organize and coordinate career fairs, networking events, and employer information sessions.

Student Support:

• Collaborate with academic departments to integrate career development activities into the curriculum.
• Conduct career-related assessments, such as personality tests and skills inventories, to assist students in self-assessment and career exploration.
• Advise students on resume writing, interview preparation, and professional networking.
• Monitor and track student progress, career outcomes, and alumni engagement.

Employer Relations:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry associations, and professional networks.
• Identify internship and job opportunities for students and facilitate connections with employers.
• Coordinate employer visits, on-campus recruitment activities, and industry guest speaker events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., career counselling, education, business administration).
• Previous experience in career counselling, recruitment, or human resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver career-related workshops and programs.
• Familiarity with job search strategies, resume writing, and interviewing techniques.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
