Fundamentals of Enterprise Performance Management using IBM Cognos TM1

About Course This course will guide modelers how to build a complete model in TM1. Through a series of IBM Cognos® TM1® is an enterprise planning software platform that can transform your entire planning cycle, from target setting and budgeting to reporting, scorecarding, analysis and forecasting. Cognos TM1 enables one to collaborate on plans, budgets and forecasts.

You can analyze data, and create models – including profitability models – to reflect a constantly evolving business environment. In addition, integrated scorecards and strategy management capabilities help you monitor performance metrics and align resources and initiatives with corporate objectives and market events. Through a series of lectures and hands-on exercises, students will learn how to model, link and deploy TM1 applications.

Pre-requisites Prior to attending this course, the students need to know

 Basic knowledge of OLAP
 Significant experience with Excel spreadsheets (functions, macros, etc.)
 Understanding of the metrics and drivers of your business
