Job Overview

Position Overview:

As a Network and Support Engineer you will be a first point of contact for technical queries and support requests from DataControl customers. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide 1st and 2nd level support to DC customers for Technical network related issues as well responsible for remotely implementing, maintaining DC Products at customer end.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Installing, Maintaining and overseeing DC Products. 
  • Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including engine & OS patches, and security Configurations. 
  • Provide Level-2/+ support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. 
  • Coordination with customers on call/skype. 
  • Log and keep track of technical issues. 
  • Bridge with Product team to report the Critical Cases. 
  • End-to-End testing of new Products/Engine Versions to validate, before release in Production. 
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues. 
  • Work in a virtual team and alias with them. 
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization. 
  • Send email reminders and notification to customers when required. 
  • May require to work in off working hours, in case of any urgent issue. 
  • Ensuring accurate recording of all cases using ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframes.

Essential Skill Set:

  • Good English Communication Skills. 
  • Proven hands-on Network engineering experience.
  • Work Experience & familiar with Cisco, Mikrotik, Juniper, Huawei Routers & L3 switches. 
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols & ISP network topology. 
  • RAID configuration & base knowledge of Hardware troubleshoot. 
  • Knowledge of Caching server, Router, Switch, PBR, ACLs, Routing Protocols. 
  • Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., Routers, Switches, Dell/Super micro, firewalls, QoS) 
  • Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP Model, & Core Routing, Switching, PBR, QOS etc.. 
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools. 
  • Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning for integration of DC Products. 
  • Familiar with Linux/Unix, Window operating system, MS Office, & NMS Tools (i.e Cacti/Zabbix) 
  • Outstanding customer service and client interfacing skills. 
  • Supporting wider team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications and contribution at team meetings. 
  • Experience in network architecture and deployment. 
  • CCNA / CCNP / Huawei / Mikrotik / Juniper / Firewall Securities, Microsoft, Networking Certifications. 
  • University degree in Computer Science or a related Network field.

Eligibity:

  • Designation: Network and Support Engineer (Level 2)
  • Salary Range: Depending on experience and skill set L1 will be between 15k to 30k and L2 will be 25 to 50k.
  • CCNA Certified, experienced with ISP environment
  • Eligibility Criteria: Bachelors / Masters any stream can apply
  • Pass-out candidates from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 batches can apply.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
