K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) has collaborated with National Stock Exchange (NSE) to launch a 9 month weekend post graduate certification program in Financial Economics. By 2020, it is estimated that there are potentially 6 million financial services jobs that are getting created. New profiles are emerging and earlier profiles are getting redefined, primarily due to technology innovations. In this context we have designed a program to provide domain knowledge and enhance skill sets of the participants that helps them to perform various financial markets. This program has been designed to provide classroom learning and also practical training through NSE trading simulation platform. 

Program Features

• Weekend sessions (Saturday & Sunday), conducted in Mumbai
• 8 hours of contact per week and 2 months of internship, project work
• PG Certificate Program in Financial Economics to be awarded by SIMSR-NSE after successful completion
• Delivered by expert Faculty from SIMSR & NSE with research and industry experience, all faculty members bring leading-edge research and consulting experience to the program and provide the best mix of theory and practice
• The sessions are interactive and encourage dynamic exchange of ideas that push participants to analyze critical business issues from different angles.

Application Fee:  INR 100

Fees: Rs. 1, 50,000/- and applicable service taxes. It includes registration fees, cost of study material, examination & certification, working lunch and tea during week end classes.

• Fees would be payable at SIMSR, Mumbai.                                                         

Fee Payment Options: Option I - Lump sum fees
                                         Rs.10, 000/- on registration                                                  
                                         Rs.1, 40,000/- lump sum before 15 days of start from academic session.
                                  Option II – Installments Scheme 1
                                         Rs. 10,000/- on registration
                                         Rs. 75,000/- each, 15 days before start of 1st and 3rd module.

• Installment post-dated cheques to be submitted before the commencement of the program.
• The program fees is inclusive of cost of study material, examination & certification, skill development through NSE simulation platform, and tea-snacks provided during the class
