Prof Ram Meghe College of Engineering & Management (PRMCEAM), Badnera-Amravati was established in the year 2009 by Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society, Amravati. Vidarbha Youth Welfare Society was established and registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the public Trust Acts, 1950 in July 1965, with a dedicated view and motto to impart education to all categories while preserving the principles of honesty, tolerance and mutual respect. PRMCEAM is the second engineering institution of the Trust. PRMCEAM is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and permanently affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU) and recognised by UGC under Section 2(f) and 12(B). The institution is located 13 kms away from Amravati city.  The campus is spread over 9.57 acres of land, well connected with road and railways. The lush green campus offers a conducive academic environment for budding learners. In the span of last thirteen years the institute has grown from initial intake of 240 students to 480 for Undergraduate courses along with the addition of four Postgraduate courses with total intake of 120. The AICTE has approved starting of two new Undergraduate Courses in Information Technology and data Science. The current student strength is 2001.
