Maharashtra Mudran Parishad (MMP) is state-level apex body of printers’ associations of Maharashtra since more than 60 years. Its primary responsibility is to co-ordinate, motivate, innovate, improve, expand and elevate the state of the graphic arts & print industry. As a part of this initiative, it runs a Technical Institute of Printing Technology & Research at Panvel.
At present, this Institute is conducting a three-year Diploma Course in Printing Technology, approved by Directorate of Technical Education, MS and AICTE. Also short term certificate courses are conducted to churn out skilled hands and technicians needed by the printing industry. We now have plans to build around 50,000 sq ft of area for the institute on our land. This will have all the ultra modern facilities including hostel for outstation students, workshop with all pre-press, press & post-press machineries, testing & research labs, library of books & CDs, conference rooms, class-rooms in amphitheatre style, printing museum, etc.
