Government Polytechnic , Nagarjuna Sagar was established in 2016 by the Government of Telangana . It is located by the side of Nagarjuna Sagar Dam. The Institute is affiliated to S.B.T.E.T.(State Board Of Technical Education And Training,Hyderabad.),The college offers 2 Diploma Courses.

1.  Diploma in Civil Engineering.

2.  Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

The minimum qualification required for admission into the programmes is SSC and aspiring candidates need to take POLYCET (Polytechnic Common Entrance Test) conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) Telangana State. The test is usually conducted in the month of April Last week/May first week of every year.
