Government Polytechnic at Nirmal, in Nirmal district was started in 2008. The institute has own building with sufficient   accommodation in about 4.1 acres of land. The campus is located close to the town adjacent to the main road and has good transportation facility.

Coures offered:
The institute offers two courses with the intake of 60 students in each:
1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)
2. Diploma in Electrical Electronics Engineering (DEEE)

Duration of the course is 3 years.
