Government polytechnic, akunoor road, vill: & mdl: cherial, siddipet: dist is established academic year  2016-2017 - with two  course diploma in electrical and electronics engineering 60 intake  and diploma in civil engineering 60 intake . It has permanent building and well furnished class rooms and well equipped laboratories . The hostel building is under construction. Aadar based biometric attendance is made mandatory for both staff and students by the commissioner of technical education government of telangana
